BOULEVARD STROLL IN LA MESA NOV. 2 WILL FEATURE STREET ARTIST, MUSIC, KIDS ZONE AND DESSERT FOOD TRUCKS

October 31, 2016 (La Mesa) - The "winter" hours for La Mesa’s Boulevard Stroll are from 5 - 8 p.m.  This month the Stroll falls on Wednesday, November 2nd.  Organizer Roz Oserin says,  “We have a wonderful treat!  The Urban Sketchers will be up by Bo Beau's - Take  few minutes and watch them sketch out the landscape in front of them!  We also have a new artist who will be doing street art in the empty lot across the street...watch for Don Masse drawing a beautiful streetscape, and 2B1, an acoustic guitarist will be moving up and down the boulevard to entertain you as well.

On your walk down the boulevard look for  Marissa Grace and her back up band on the corner of La Mesa Blvd and Palm.  Plus the Dance Company and Flavor Company will be dancing up a storm.

Dessert Food Trucks are the theme this month. .Sno Cal shaved ice will be up on Palm again(or thereabouts) and across the tracks in the West Village, as it is now fondly being called, you can have a taste of gelato at Sicilian Breeze Gelato. “In the Kidz Zone we'll have the The kids art table will be in front of Nainsook Framing + Art and will be feauturing a Thanksgiving themed art project,” Oserin adds. “Stop on by, and while the kids are doing their art, you can stop in and check out our newest business in La Mesa, Nainsook Framing + Art.  Nainsook will have some nibbles and a beautiful gallery full of local artist's work. 

Residents are encouraged to invite your friends and neighbors to come out and enjoy the Village of La Mesa at this month’s Boulevard Stroll.
