June 5, 2017 (San Diego) -- June is the month that is declared as National Safety Month by the National Safety Council (NSC).
The NSC and thousands of organizations across the country work to raise awareness to keep each other safe. Observed annually in June, National Safety Month focuses on reducing leading causes of injury and death at work, on the road and in our homes and communities reminds Fire Chief Sam DiGiovanna.
