April 20, 2017 (Descanso) – Do you have a plan for reducing your wildfire risks and protecting your family and pets? The Descanso Emergency Planning/FireSafe Group is holding a workshop on Saturday May 6 from 1-3 p.m. at the Descanso Library (9545 River Drive in Descanso) to help families prepare for wildfires.
They will guide you through the planning process to make your property resistant to fires, and help you put together a disaster/survival plan for your family and pets. Don’t miss this workshop, your family’s safety depends on how well you are prepared in advance of a wildfire.
All Mountain Community members welcome. There will be a raffle for free address placards. Snacks and beverages will be available.
