August 2, 2011 (San Diego)--The County Board of Supervisors is set to approve a redistricting plan today in a meeting at 2 p.m. at the county Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, Room 310 in downtown San Diego.
Oppponents of the current plan are organizing to turn out in protest of what the contend are possible violations of the Voting Rights Act "that may dilute the voices of non-white voters" according to the Center on Policy Initiatives.
