CRIMESTOPPERS OFFERS REWARD OF UP TO $1,000 TO FIND BONITA BURGLARY/CREDIT CARD THEFT SUSPECTS

 November 16, 2011 (San Diego)--San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Imperial Beach Station are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate two unknown suspects wanted for burglary in Bonita.     

 
 

 

Detectives said that on September 28, 2011, an elderly couple had their vehicle broken into after they left it parked at the Sweetwater Regional Park in Bonita to go for a walk.   The couple returned to find their car window broken and the woman’s purse gone.  The purse contained their credit cards and checkbook.

 
The suspects were caught on surveillance video using the victim’s stolen checks at Smart and Final and Costco stores across the South and East County.  They are described as a white male adult and a white female adult.  Their vehicle, a white four-door sedan, was also caught on surveillance video.
 
Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspects should call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent in via www.sdcrimestoppers.com.
 
For information leading to an arrest, you could receive up to a $1,000 reward and remain anonymous.  The qualification for and the amount of the reward will be determined by San Diego County Crime Stoppers, Inc, in its sole discretion.  The amount of all rewards given shall not exceed $1,000.  Information must be received on the tip line, (888) 580-8477.
