DEERHORN VALLEY VINEYARDS OFFERS SPRING BARREL TASTINGS OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

May 22, 2021 (Deerhorn Valley) – Visitors to Deerhorn Valley Vineyards’ tasting room in Jamul over Memorial Day weekend will have the opportunity to sample a wine directly from the barrel,  complimentary with any winetasting purchased.

The wines are hand-crafted in small batches, with red wines aged in oak.  The winery offers a full range of whites, reds, rosés and blends. In addition, you can sample a wide variety of flavored balsamic vinegars and olive oils.

  • Viognier
  • Aglianico (New Release)
  • Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Cabernet Franc

    Deerhorn Valley Miscela (New Release, Italian Style Blend) 
  • Rose (Dry)
  • Montepulciano (New Release)
  • Sangiovese
  • Syrah
  • Pinot Noir (New Release)

Flavored Olive Oils: (all produced in central Calif.):

  • Garlic (fresh pressed) 
  • Basil (fresh pressed)
  • Blood Orange (fresh pressed)
  • Italian Herb
  • Jalapeno
  • Lemon – New
  • Truffle Butter
  • Balsamic Vinegars: (Imported from Italy, except 8 year old.)
  • 25 Year Old 
  • Chocolate
  • 8 Year Old

The winery is open Memorial Day and is also open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment by calling 619-468-0033. In addition to a cozy indoor tasting room, the winery has a new covered outdoor patio with mountain views and a pergola where you can bring a picnic meal or snack.
