March 2, 2011 (San Diego) – Deputies from the Poway Sheriff’s station responded to a burglar alarm at 2:30 a.m. at Apricorn Electronics, 12191 Kirkham Road in Poway. The suspects had been in the process of loading a van stolen from Oceanside with computers taken from the business when deputies arrived. Three suspects fled the business and hid in brush nearby.
Deputies formed a perimeter and took one suspect, Julio Garcia, 27, into custody. Two Sheriff canine units responded, but after an hour of searching, the two remaining suspects were not found.
