DRIVER KILLED IN JAMUL

July 24, 2010 (Jamul) – The driver of a Mitsubishi  crossed the center line, lost control and spun out on Skyline Truck Trail west of Lawson Valley Road shortly before 1 a.m. on July 23. The vehicle struck a 2004 Ford F-150 truck, causing the Mitsubishi driver, a Hispanic man, to be ejected. He was prounced dead at the scene of his injuries.

 

The deceased man's name has not been released pending notification of kin.

 

Two teenagers in the Ford, both 19 and residents of Jamul, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
