August 31, 2015 (El Cajon)—The East County Rose Society invites rose aficionados to a meeting on Sunday, September 6 at 2 p.m. at Kniffings Nursery (14940 Oak Creek Road in El Cajon).

Sherri Snider will give a presentation titled “Organic solutions for rose gardening.”  This is also the organization’s ice cream social, so bring topics or ice cream related items to share.

Directions to Kniffings Nursery: Take I-8 east past downtown El Cajon  Exit at Lake Jennings Rd., turn left and proceed to first light (Blossom Valley Rd.) Turn right on Blossom Valley Rd. and go one (long) mile. Turn right on Flinn Springs Rd. and short left on Oak Creek Rd.  (Kniffing Nursery sign on this corner.) Entrance on left.
