April 21, 2011 (El Cajon)– GET Engineering Corporation, an El Cajon firm, was recognized for its quality and performance by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. GET received a Supplier Excellence Award at a recognition ceremony held at the Wyndham hotel in Andover, Massachusetts on April 13, 2011.
Raytheon recognizes its suppliers based on three important factors: on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.
“Our products provide an unprecedented level of technological capability for use in legacy defense systems,” said GET’s CEO Greg Mac Neil. “Ultimately, these products will help protect the brave men and women of the United States Military. Our products now have the capability of upgrading older data communication systems and allowing them to integrate with current net-centric operations.”
GET’s role in the Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems dates back to 1988. Since 1982, GET Engineering Corporation has provided products to all of the major Prime Contractors as well as the U.S. Navy and its Allies.
The Company designs and manufactures its products in the City of El Cajon, California. GET products are sold worldwide through eleven representatives and distributors in various countries.
