EX-OFFICER, AUTHOR GARY MITROVICH TO SPEAK AT LAKESIDE HISTORICAL SOCIETY DINNER SEPT. 28

September 11, 2015 (Lakeside)--The Lakeside Historical Society will be hosting their annual Spaghetti Dinner on Monday, Sept 28  at 6pm.  Tickets for dinner are $10 donation and reservations must be made by Sept. 25.  The Historical Society is located at 9906 Maine Avenue, corner of Parkside Ave. in the heart of the Historic District.  Please call the History Center at 561-1886 for reservations or questions.

The program for the evening will be Gary Mitrovitch, a retired police officer who will give a power point presentation on East San Diego, (now called City Heights) which was an independent city from 1912 until 1923.  The area is around El Cajon Blvd and University Avenue.  The program will begin at 7pm.
