FEAST YOUR EYES ON THESE THANKSGIVING DINING OPTIONS

Don’t want to cook?  Bon appétit!  Several restaurants in East County and San Diego’s inland region are offering Thanksgiving feasts for dining in or take-out.  Feast your eyes on this year’s offerings from Andiamo, Bleu Boheme, Cali Comfort, and Pine Hills Lodge. ANDIAMO:  This Tierrasanta restaurant will be open Thanksgiving day, serving up holiday dinners for $25.95 apiece, or $14.95 for children. The feast begins with butternut squash soup, followed by slow-roasted turkey, sausage and walnut stuffing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, French beans almondine, cranberry sauce, pumpkin loaf soaked in espresso and mascarpone pumpkin cream. BLEU BOHEME:  Open Thanksgiving Day, this French restaurant in Kensington is offering a fixed price holiday menu at $48.95 per person or $16.95 for children.  The feast includes choice of three entrees – turkey, king salmon or beef shortribs—along with pumpkin-hominy soup, salad, and choice of three desserts. CALI COMFORT:  This Spring Valley eatery is offering catering including slow-smoked whole turkey with all the fixings (country stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, wedding beans, mac-n-chese, rolls and honey butter) for $89.99. Orders must be placed by November 24 and picked up by 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.  The restaurant will be closed for dining on Thanksgiving.  For details, see www.calicomfortsd.com

PINE HILLS LODGE:  This charming and rustic Julian bed and breakfast inn is serving up an old-fashioned Thanksgiving feast.  You may even spot some wild turkeys on the grounds! Cost is $40 per person or $24.95 for children.  Reservations are required; seatings will be offered at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 4 p.m. The menu8 includes roast turkey and glazed ham, salad with cranberries and blue cheese, bread basket, candied yams, with brown sugar, toasted pecans and marshmallows, green beans with wild mushroom cream and frizzled onions.
