September 15, 2011 (Julian) – Ready for some toe-tapping musical entertainment? Head out to the historic gold rush town of Julian in San Diego’s East County, where the Julian Lions Club will present the 41st Back Country Music Jamboree and Banjo Fiddle Contest on Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18 at Frank Lane Park.

 

The contest will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $35 for both days, or $20 for a single day admission at the gate. Cost includes parking. Scheduled performances include:
 

Saturday - September 17
12:00 P.M - Heritage
1:00 P.M - Trails & Rails
2:00 P.M - Shawn Rohlf - Buskers
3:00 P.M - Sara Petite
4:00 P.M - Chris Clarke and PLOW
5:00 P.M - Mark Jackson Band

 

Sunday - Septmber 18
12:00 P.M Contest Winners Showcase with Cierra Smothers
1:00 P.M - Folding Mr. Lincoln
2:00 P.M - Taildraggers
3:00 P.M - Rick Shea/Tom Corbett
4:00 P.M - Susie Glaze and Hilonesome Band

 

To reach Frank Lane Park, just follow Julian's main street toward the west end of town; the park is on the right.
