FORMER CHARGER HANK BAUER TO HOST NEXT GENERATIONS GALA AND GOLF TOURNAMENT

May 25, 2012 (Lakeside)– Celebrating 10 years of service to the Tribal communities of Southern California, Inter Tribal Sports (ITS) ambassadors Bill Walton (NBA Hall of Fame) and Lorenzo Neal (NFL All-Pro) invite San Diegans to join former San Diego Charger Hank Bauer at the NeXt Generations Gala and Golf Tournament at Barona Creek Golf Course in Lakeside on June 29.
ITS is a non-profit organization that unifies tribal youth through structured athletic programs and is committed to ensuring all participants have necessary resources and facilities.


The event will feature a day of golf at the Barona Creek Golf Club followed by an evening gala, emceed by former San Diego Charger and TV and radio personality Hank Bauer, to toast a decade of success. All net proceeds from the event will go directly to the organization to continue providing unique services to local Native American youth. 
 
“We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate a decade of helping thousands of kids from 22 tribal communities get involved in sports and lead healthy lifestyles,” said Ben Foster, executive director of ITS. “We hope everyone will come out to support the NeXt Generations Gala to benefit ITS, a model organization for communities nationwide, helping children build character, self-esteem and a positive outlook on life.”
 
GOLF TOURNAMENT:  The tournament starts at 9 a.m. and will feature contests and an awards reception from 3 to 4 p.m.
 
GALA EVENT:The evening gala will start at 6 p.m. and will feature award-winning food, live music and entertainment, as well as raffle and auction items.
