January 24, 2011 (El Cajon) -- East County's newest gallery, Main Street 5 Gallery at 124 East Main Street in El Cajon, will host a grand opening event on Friday, February 4th from 5-10 p.m. The opening will feature photographic arts by Esther Beish.
According to the gallery's website, the artist's passion for discovering what catches the eye and constructing a well composed photograph is evident throughout her work. Working with light, color and creative digital editing allows her to make her photos into something very unique. Beish photographs a wide range of subjects from beach life to pool halls.
She began her photography at Helix High School in La Mesa at age 16. She later took photography classes at Grossmont College and also worked as a photographer at Glamour Shots Studios.
Since then she has been traveling the world with her husband of 17 yrs and her three children. When she's not running the house or taking pictures, she is playing pool or making travel arrangements for her next trip.
