GAS FURNACES RECALLED DUE TO CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING HAZARD

June 9, 2023 (Washington D.C.) – A recall has been announced today of improperly
assembled furnaces (heaters) that can produce high levels of carbon monoxide, posing
a risk of potentially deadly carbon monoxide poisoning, the Consumer Product Safety
Commission announced today.
 
The recalled produce are Armstrong and AirEase brand gas furnaces sold between
September 2022 and March 2023.

 
The model numbers are A96UH1E045B12S, A96UH1E070B12S, and/or
A96UH1E110C20S. The brand name is printed on the outside of the furnace and the
model number is on the label, which you can see by opening the furnace door. These
furnaces weigh 129 to 170 pounds and sold through Armstrong and AirEase authorized
HVAC dealers for between $1,800 and $3,400.
 
If you purchased a recalled furnace, contact Allied Air Enterprises to schedule a free in-
home repair by an authorized technician who will replace the incorrect component. You
