Over 7,000 East County Students & Parents Expected to Attend Largest Career/College Fair in San Diego County
 

October 12, 2010 (El Cajon) The Grossmont Union High School District will host its seventh annual “Got Plans?” Career & College Fair for 9 - 12th grade students and parents on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cuyamaca College.

 

Admissions representatives from more than 90 public and private universities, community colleges, vocational schools, and the military will be present to answer questions and share information about their schools. Attendees may also participate in up to two 45-minute workshops that review options available to students after high school. Some sessions will be offered in Spanish and Arabic.

 

Over 7,000 East County students and parents are expected to attend the event, which is the largest Career/College Fair in San Diego County, as they pursue post-secondary options. This information is more important than ever in a time when admissions to UC and CSU schools have been significantly reduced.
