HAWK TALK, FLOWER HIKE AND MORE AT COUNTY PARKS THIS WEEKEND

March 27, 2017 (San Diego’s East County) - This weekend’s weather forecast is for sunny skies and pleasant temperatures with highs in the low 70s. It’s a perfect time to head outdoors and enjoy activities along local parks and trails.

The County of San Diego has several special activities this weekend. On Saturday, April 1st – no fooling--activities include an introduction to fishing at Lake Morena, Arts and Crafts at Dos Picos Park in Ramona, and an extreme hiking challenge at El Capitan Preserve in Lakeside.

Then on Sunday, April 2nd, your options include a spring flower hike at the Santa Ysabel Preserve in Julian, Hawk Talk at Lake Morena Regional Park where you can see raptors up close,  a Sunday stroll at Oakoasis Park in Lakeside, or a hike in William Heise County Park in Julian.
