El Cajon PD Lt. Will Guerin reporterd that at about 9:47 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, El Cajon police officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the 1100 block of East Madison Avenue.
At the site in the parking lot, officers found the 46-year-old male victim, later identified as Deandra Bryant, suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported Bryant to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Bryant had been involved in an altercation with two male suspects. During the confrontation, one of the suspects produced a firearm and shot Bryant.

England was arrested on July 2 and booked into jail for murder. Wallace, who has prior felony convictions, was originally taken into custody on unrelated firearms charges on June 11, is currently in custody and has since had his charges upgraded to murder.
The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
