HWY 67 RAMP CLOSURES SUNDAY NIGHT AT I-8 AND HWY 52

July 4, 2015 (San Diego’s East County) --Caltrans construction crews will close several connector ramps on State Route 67 (SR-67) to and from Interstate 8 (I-8) and from SR-67 to State Route 52 (SR-52) for night work Sunday to Wednesday. See attached.

The following connector ramps are scheduled for closure throughout the evening hours beginning at 7 and reopening to traffic by 5 in the morning.

·         7 p.m. - Southbound SR-67 to westbound SR-52 and the eastbound SR-52 to northbound SR-67.

·         8 p.m.  - Westbound I-8 to northbound SR-67;

·         10 p.m.  - Northbound SR-67 to westbound SR-52 and eastbound SR-52 to southbound SR-67;

·         11 p.m. - Eastbound I-8 to northbound SR-67. 

Changeable Message Signs will be placed in advance to alert motorists of the upcoming closures.  Detour signs will be posted to guide motorists around the work.

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time and to drive alertly near construction zones.
