JULIAN SCHOOL VANDALISM SUSPECTS ARRESTED

December 8, 2014 (Julian)—Sheriff’s deputies have arrested three teens reportedly caught in the act spray painting graffiti on buildings at Julian Union High School on Saturday.  They are suspected in several prior vandalism cases with damage of nearly $40,000 total.

The vandals fled when deputies arrived on campus shortly after 2 a.m.  They later arrested Dylan Hartung, 18, Michael Ludke, 19, and a minor whose name has not been released.  Two of the suspects were in a vehicle containing evidence of the vandalism, according to Sheriff’s officials.

The teens face charges of vandalism, burglary and conspiracy.
