KIFM / 98.1 SMOOTH FM TO HOST “AMERICAN IDOL VIEWING PARTY”

May 8, 2012 (Eastlake) – KIFM / 98.1 Smooth FM is set to host an “American Idol Viewing Party” this Wednesday night (May 9) at The Brewhouse at Eastlake and cheer on hometown “idol” contestant Jessica Sanchez of Chula Vista.

98.1 Smooth FM morning-drive DJ Lenny B. and mid-day DJ Mike V. are set to host with prizes to give away during the commercial breaks, including tickets to see former American Idol contestant, Daughtry, when he comes to San Diego on May 22.

There will be a red-carpet celebrity-style walk featuring paparazzi photographers to give attendees the a dose of Hollywood excitement, and a life-size cut-out of Sanchez for free photo opportunities.

The Brewhouse at Eastlake is located at 871 Showroom Place in Chula Vista. American Idol airs from 8-10 p.m.
