October 3, 2011 (La Mesa)…Rides4Neighbors offers Travel San Diego, an “Explore/Learn/Discover” opportunity.  This nine-week class is designed specifically for adults over 60 who enjoy travelling and meeting new people, and who are looking for an alternative to freeway driving. 
 
 
 
Concerned about your mobility or fitness level?  Ask about Rides4Neighbrs’ new Travel San Diego Light class designed for maximum fun and customized for your needs. Both classes incorporate walking and training on how to use public transit such as bus, trolley, and the Coaster. Attend a free orientation at the La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center, 8450 La Mesa Blvd., La Mesa on Wednesday, October 5th at 10 a.m.
 

Class destinations may include Encinitas, Coronado, the Gaslamp downtown, and much more. The class cost is $43, which covers your 2-month MTS Senior fare card and class fee.  If you already have your MTS fare card, the class fee is $5.
