August 2, 2015 (Lakeside)--The Lakeside Historical Society will be hosting its annual yard sale this coming Friday and Saturday, August 7 and 8. The doors will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Olde Community Church, 9906 Maine Avenue, corner of Parkside.
The sale includes vintage, collectibles, dishes, kitchenware, crafts, decorator items, books, yard art, small appliances, books, toys and general miscellaneous. “There are bargains galore and you'll find some wonderful items for cheap prices,” an e-mail sent by organizers states.
Funds generated will help with the Society's continued preservation efforts in Lakeside. If you have items you would like to donate they will be greatefully accepted Monday through Thursday, August 1-6 from 10am until 2pm at the History Center, back door. (No clothing or computer items.)
