LOCAL MEMORIAL CEREMONIES TO HONOR FALLEN OFFICERS

April 27, 2012 (San Diego) -- Two local memorials are planned to honor San Diego law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  On Tuesday, May 1,  at 11:00 a.m. the San Diego Police Department Memorial Ceremony will honor San Diego Police Officer Jeremy Henwood, as well as all San Diego Police Officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
 
The event is sponsored by the San Diego Police Department and San Diego Police Officers Association. The event will be at San Diego Police Headquarters located at 1400 Broadway, San Diego
 
On Wednesday, May 2 at 12 p.m. , a ceremony is planned to honor and remember the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers from throughout San Diego County killed in the line of duty. The San Diego County Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation is sponsoring the event at the Regional Law Enforcement Memorial at the County Administration Center located at 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego - West Side
