LOVE IN BLOOM: LAVENDER FIELDS OPEN TO PUBLIC APRIL 29

April 24, 2011 (Valley Center) – Visiting season begins April 29 at at Keys Creek Lavender Farm in Valley Center. Fragrant and beautiful, more than two dozen types of certified organic lavender bloom on the farm, which also features a gift shop, walking tours, classes, distillation demonstrations, speakers and tips for cooking with lavender herbs. The farm is open to visitors on Fridays, Satudays and Sundays through June.
 

Several special events are also planned for this spring and summer, including a Mother’s Day brunch on April 8th and a Forage Dinner on June 25th. Reservations are strongly recommended, since these popular events do sell out. 

 

Keys Creek Lavender Farm is also available for private events such as weddings.
 

Terrain is hilly; closed-toed walking shoes are recommended. Weather can be chilly in spring, so a light sweater or jacket is recommended.
