MAN ARRESTED FOR STABBING WIFE IN SANTEE

November 21, 2017 (Santee) – Travis Haddix has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his wife multiple times in the parking lot of Olive Garden in Santee.

According to Sergeant M. Atavisca, the two were discussing matters related to their separation and child custody when “Haddix became enraged. He brandished a knife and attacked the victim, stabbing her four times.”

She was wounded in the torso, hand and neck and taken to a hospital for treatment, but none of her injuries are considered life threatening.

The suspect fled the crime scene but was later arrested by San Diego Police officers at a friend’s residence.  He was transported to the Santee Sheriff’s station for processing and was later booked into the San Diego County jail.
