July 31, 2014 (El Cajon)—El Cajon Police are investigating the stabbing death of a man found bleeding and unresponsive last night at the Villa Embasadora Hotel.
Police responded to a 911 call of a possible fight at 7:15 p.m. When officers arrived, then found the victim, a black male adult about 28 years old, in a hotel room suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Detectives are investigating the death as a homicide. Police are seeking a shirtless black male adult seen leaving the crime scene with what appeared to be blood on him. His involvement in the incident is not yet clear and no suspect has yet been named, said Lieutenant Frank La Haye.
