MASKED SUSPECTS SMASH, ROB I-POD KIOSK AT GROSSMONT CENTER; FLEE IN TAN SEDAN

March 22, 2011 (La Mesa)--At 2:35 p.m., three masked suspects smashed the I-Pod liosk display counter at Grossmont Center and stole  electronic items. The suspects are described as either black or Hispanic males.

 

“One suspect was armed with an unknown type handgun though he did not threaten anyone with it,” a press release form La Mesa Police indicates. The suspects fled the area in a tan sedan in an unknown direction of travel.

 

There is no further suspect information.

 

Anyone with any information on the suspects is asked to call the La Mesa Police Department at (619) 667-1400 or the Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477; you can also email or text anonymously at wwww.sdcrimestoppers.com. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 for to anyone with information that leads to a felony arrest.
