MEET AND GREET WITH LEMON GROVE COUNCIL CANDIDATE LOU MELENDEZ SEPT 16

September 8, 2012 (Lemon Grove)—A meet-and-greet with Lemon Grove City Council candidate Lou Melendez wll be held on Sunday, September 16 from 2-4:30 pm.

A 15-year resident of Lemon Grove, Melendez has worked as an engineer with CalTrans for 21 years with experience in infrastructure issues. He says he is committed to community development, local history and youth.

The meet and greet is hosted by Jack and Marianne Moore, along with Helen Ofield, at the Moore home, 2445 Glebe in Lemon Grove.  Light refreshments will be served.

The event is free.  A pair of Charger tickets will be raffled ($1 a ticket, or 5 for $5) to benefit Lemon Grove charities (Little League, Friends of Lemon Grove Library, Soroptomist Food and Toy Drive, and others).
