79th district Democrats Ben Hueso, Pearl Quinones in Bonita;

77th district Republican Christine Rubin at Barrett Junction

May 6, 2010 (San Diego’s East County) – On Thursday, May 13th, voters are invited to meet local candidates for Assembly at two separate locations. Both events are free and open to the public.
 

The EastLake-Bonita Democratic Club will host a candidate forum featuring Democratic candidates Pearl Quinones and Ben Hueso. Both are running for the 79th Assembly district seat. The meeting will be held in the Bonita Library, 4375 Bonita Road, with social time/refreshments at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting at 7 p.m. Each candidate will speak briefly and then answer questions. In addition, speakers on both sides of Proposition G and a term limits proposition will make presentations and field questions.

Christine Rubin, conservative Republican running for the 77th Assembly district, will meet and greet voters at the Barrett Junction Café, 1020 Barrett Lake Road (at the junction of Highway 94) in Dulzura the same evening.
