MOTORCYCLIST KILLED, SECOND RIDER SERIOUSLY INJURED IN HIGH-SPEED CRASH

Update:  The deceased has been identified as Christopher John Kuhlmann, 37, of El Cajon.

April 2, 2017 (El Cajon) — A motorcyclist who drifted over the center line of Jamacha Road near Vista de la Valle struck an oncoming vehicle and died at the scene at 3:50 p.m. yesterday.  A second motorcyclist lost control and was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. 

Both were traveling south on Jamacha at high speeds, according to Lieutenant Steve Kirk with El Cajon Police. It is not yet known if alcohol was a factor.

No substantial injuries were reported by occupants of the other vehicle.

The El Cajon Police Department reminds motorcyclists to obey all traffic laws.
