January 17, 2011 (El Cajon) -- The Hyde Art Gallery at Grossmont College opens its spring semester with “Mmmultiplicy” Installation Works by Lea Anderson.  This exhibition runs from January 23 to February 23, with an artist opening even on Tuesday, January 31 from 7-9 p.m.

The artwork appears  “like a beautiful confluence of sea creatures floating around the walls of the gallery,” a release by the gallery states. “ The multitude of shapes and color entice us with their great variety.  The semi-transparent and opaque forms remind us of the vastness of the sea transformed into an installation of wonderfully abstracted elements, impressive with their multiplicity.”

The Gallery is located at 8800 Grossmont College Drive in El Cajon on the campus of Grossmont College.
The Gallery hours are:  Monday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Gallery is CLOSED Friday to Sunday and legal Holidays.  Admission is free.   Parking is available during the exhibition with the purchase of a permit from the vending machine in lot #1F.

Complimentary parking is available ONLY on the evening of the opening in lot #1.  Vehicles must be parked in designated parking stalls.  The Gallery is located in Building 25 across Café 200.
