October 27, 2016 (San Diego) - Caltrans crews have scheduled lane closures at the intersection of State Route 67 (SR-67) and Dye Road/Highland Valley Road near Ramona on Thursday night from 7 until 5 Friday morning.

The intersection will remain open with one-way traffic control resulting in slower moving traffic. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow addition time when traveling in the work zone.

The nighttime work is part of the SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Interchange Project and is needed to restripe the limit lines at the intersection. The reconfiguration will increase the turn area for commercial trucks and busses and is expected to improve traffic flow through the intersection.

More information about the SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Interchange Project may be found at http://www.dot.ca.gov/d11/projects/67_DyeRoad.pdf

Motorists are reminded to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment in the project area. The work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
