February 25, 2011 (Crest) – The Sheriff’s office has been going door-to-door to notify residents in Crest about a prowler who has been peeking in windows of homes in the vicinity of Crest Drive and Highline Trail. Paula Dickenson, crime prevention specialist at the Sheriff’s substation in Alpine, said two incidents occurred involving a Hispanic man, 20-25 years old, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a red hooded sweat shirt.
The first prowler report occurred on February 20th at 12:30 a.m. The second was on February 23rd at 10:20 p..m.
