August 25, 2016 (Ramona) - The August Open Farm Tour and Show at the Oasis Camel Dairy is set for this next weekend, August 27th and 28th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Three amazing alignments make for a trifecta of perfect timing to plan your visit!  Slower pace, gorgeous weather and animals that want to see you!

July Watermelon Days was a HUGE festivallian success and now it is time for guests who prefer a little quieter experience to plan their visit. This will be your last chance to see the Dairy this summer. It is a great time to see baby Trooper who is out with the herd now and comes right up to everyone for petting!

Plus enjoy a shaded kids game area and Mini Sheep/Tiny Town. Both big hits at the festivals and are available for this Open Farm Tour too!

Gil and the camel "A Team": Sampson, Cleopatra, Balleena, mother Lily and of course baby Trooper have just come home from the OC Fair in Costa Mesa where they spent two weeks performing their unique, family show. They are soooooo ready to get back to work and show off their new stuff!

While Gil and the Camel Clan where entertaining at the OC Fair, Nancy and the Pollywood Birds wowed crowds in Santa Rosa! Now home for a short spell, the birds want to keep in practice so look forward to meeting special guests like Maya the toucan in a wonderful close-up encounter in our 1:30 Animal Show. Toucans are rarely seen up close and to see one interact with such sweetness and enthusiasm is wonderful...and wait until you hear her purr!

Oasis has lots of Camel Milk Lotions, Bath Bombs, Lip Treats and of course, creamy, delicious Al Nassma Camel Milk Chocolate on hand in the gift shop as well as snacks, water and cute, cuddly stuffed animals to take home with you.
