June 15, 2016 (San Diego) – 10 News is reporting that a post in the personal ads section on Craigslist showed a revolver being fired with a message threatening San Diego’s LGBT community with violence.

The post claimed the Orlando mass shooting at a gay nightclub was “long overdue” and contained slurs against the LGTB community. The post also thanked God for AIDS, 9-11 and Orlando, stating “San Diego you are next…”

The post, reported by a 10 News viewer who took a screenshot, has since been removed by Craigslist.  San Diego Police are investigating. The FBI has indicated that despite the post, there are no known specific, credible threats against targets in San Diego.
