September 23, 2012 (San Diego) -- For the first time ever, voters in our state can now register completely online -- no paper form needed. Californians whose current addresses match the address they have on file with the DMV can register (or reregister) at www.sandiegovotes.org.
About 70% of people eligible to vote in San Diego County are still not registered. The deadline is coming up in just over a month, on October 22, to register to vote in the November Presidential election as well as for local offices.
