April 8, 2012 (San Diego) -- Each Spring and Summer when local wildlife nest and birth their young, Project Wildlife receives and cares for thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife countywide until they are ready for release.

Come experience the wildlife “baby season” at the organization’s third annual Wildlife Baby Shower. The event will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Project Wildlife’s Triage Center, 887 ½ Sherman St., San Diego 92110.

Guests can see wildlife babies in their care, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Triage Center, meet Animal Ambassadors, sample cuisine from the Cohn Restaurant Group’s mobile food truck, participate in opportunity drawings for great prizes and shop arts and crafts handmade by our dedicated volunteers.

Much-needed gifts or donations are greatly appreciated and requested for admission (all attendees who bring a gift, donation or gift receipt to the event will be entered to win a SONY Netbook!) Gifts can be purchased online at Amazon.com  or at local stores. Go to www.projectwildlife.org to view the wildlife babies’ Wish List.
