PUBLIC HELP SOUGHT TO FIND SUSPECT IN THEFT OF VETERANS GRAVE MARKERS AT ALPINE CEMETARY

June 6, 2014 (Alpine)--The Alpine Sheriff's Station and San Diego County Crime Stoppers want your help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a series of thefts at a cemetery.



Sometime between April 4-5, 2013, three suspects entered the Alpine Cemetery on Victoria Drive. They stole seven brass grave markers belonging to military veterans worth about $3,500. Investigators were able to identify and arrest two of the three suspects.

Take a good look at the photo attached to this bulletin of the third unidentified suspect. If you know who he is or where he can be found, call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent in via www.sdcrimestoppers.org.
