October 4, 2012 (Alpine)--The Alpine Woman's Club invites you to participate in a program to help maintain and preserve the historic Town Hall building. It was built in 1899 and is one of Alpine's most significant treasures. In 2006 it was designated an historic site by the San Diego County Register of Historic Places. As Alpine's original Town Hall, it has housed every type of event imaginable - graduations, movie nights, dances, weddings, funerals, Red Cross events during World Wars I and II, and much more.

The Alpine Woman's Club was established in 1914 and acquired the Town Hall in 1932. Members have donated their time, talents and resources to preserve and maintain this stately building for the enjoyment of our generation and future generations.

The public is invited to purchase a commemorative tile 4 x 4 inches to help fund preservation. On the tiles, you can have your name, your children's names, use your business name, dedicate a memorial tile for a loved one, or just be imaginative. The tiles will be displayed along the access ramp.

There are a limited number of tiles available and they will be issued on a first-come first-served basis.  Don't delay to reserve your tile(s) today.
