RAMONA SITES ON FARM TOUR DAY JUNE 7

June 7, 2014 (Ramona)--On Saturday June 7^th, the San Diego Farm Bureau hosts its annual farm tour. This is an exclusive look at a side of San Diego County few people get to see. So if you’re ever hankered to experience country life down on the farm, here’s your chance.

Guided walking tours, led by the farmers themselves, will take you through their unique farming operations and showcase a variety of the region’s agricultural specialties. Demonstrations, samples, and other fun or all ages are also included.  The tour runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You can choose from farms on one of three locations: Ramona, Escondido or Oceanside.

Here in East County, the Ramona tour features a Free-Range and Pastured Egg Ranch, a working vineyard and winery, an international succulent and cactus growing operation and two fruit and veggie farms.
