REWARD OFFERED TO IDENTIFY ARSONIST SUSPECT IN LEMON GROVE

December 12, 2022 (Lemon Grove) – The Sheriff’s Department seeks public help to identify a man seen on surveillance video setting fire to the Kiva Learning Center for Women and Children in Lemon Grove shortly after noon on Nov. 19. The facility is located at the McAlister Institute in the 2000 block of Skyline Drive in Lemon Grove.

Video showed the man piling items up and setting it ablaze near the lobby of the facility for women and children, but fortunately others at the center were able to extinguish the fire before significant damage occurred.

If you have any information, please call  San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org.  Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
