March 24, 2012 (La Mesa) -- It looks like a cannon ball with a handle, and it’s called a Kettlebell.  This small exercise tool has been used in Eastern Bloc countries for hundreds of years, and it has made it to the USA.

"Women especially really enjoy kettlebell training because it targets the areas where they want to see measurable results" says Owner JJ Brawley, Head Coach and owner of La Mesa Fit Body Boot Camp.

Amanda Hodge, a current member of Fit Body Boot Camp added, “This isn’t something that you can just buy a DVD and follow along with at home, you need hands on coaching or you risk injury.”

“Many people come to us after training with kettlebells on their own or with another trainer, says Coaches Brawley “We often have to spend more time fixing bad habits than anything else.”
Both women and men greatly benefit from the addition of kettlebell training to their current workout regime.
