December 19, 2014 (San Diego) – A delightful array of pottery by local artisans was on display during the San Diego Pottery Tour. This year’s event showcased works by more than 30 local potters at nine studios, including several in East County.

Pieces ranged from primitive to sophisticated, from the practical to the whimsical.  There were works in earth hues and others in vibrant shades.  Some artisans had signature elements, others showed an astonishingly wide range of styles and artistry.  Some pieces were both practical and playful, such as a turtle teapot with feet that flip over to serve as teacups.
