October 23, 2014 (San Diego) —San Diego Professional Editors Network (SD/PEN) invites you to join a field trip and meeting on Thursday, November 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Clearstory Creative Digital Publishers (8320 Miramar Mall, San Diego 92121).  Host and presenter Debara Medina, CEO and owner of Clearstory Creative Digital Publishers, will show you the behind-the-scenes workings of a book publisher.

This SD/PEN event is free to SD/PEN members and $10.00 for nonmembers. The evening will include snacks (including vegetarian selections) and beverages. Bring your business cards and network before the presentation.

All Clearstory’s work is done in house at their state-of-the-art facility.   A press release from SD/PEN states, “Wait until you see the machine Debara calls `The Mother Ship!’ Debara brought her experience working with high-tech companies to her most recent company as she personally evaluated and purchased each piece of equipment. Your facilities tour will include her explanation of the machines and how they’re used at Clearstory.”

Clearstory celebrates everyone’s story. Debara says she is committed to providing the highest quality digital printing, finishing, bookbinding, and innovation to anyone—from businesses to individuals—with a passion for telling their story with sophistication. Clearstory, a minority- and woman-owned creative digital print publisher, serves the self-publishing and photo-book printing industries as well as performs an array of business printing. At Clearstory, if you dream it, Debara makes it.
