Gabriel Plascencia added a 46-yard field goal with three minutes left in the second quarter, but San Jose State (6-5, 5-2) matched the Aztecs point for point to even things up at 10-10 heading into halftime.

SJSU's Chevan Cordeiro threw a deep pass to Isaac Jernagin for a 42-yard gain that set up a 20-yard touchdown run by Conley that gave San Jose State a 17-10 lead with 6:16 left in the third quarter.
