December 18, 2022 (San Diego) - Head coach Kylee White has released the 2023 Aztec lacrosse schedule. After a strong finish to the 2022 campaign, the Aztecs will take part in 17 contests with 11 home appearances including two games at Snapdragon Stadium during the 2023 season.

The 17-game schedule features challenging matchups against the likes of Marquette, USC, Arizona State, Marquette, Drexel, and UC Davis.

"I am very excited about this year’s competitive schedule," White explained. "The strength of schedule puts us in a great position to compete nationally and vie for that at large bid for the NCAA tournament."

The Aztecs open their season with an exhibition matchup against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Feb. 4.

SDSU will then head to the East Coast to play their next two games on the road. On Feb. 10, the Aztecs travel to Notre Dame before taking on Marquette and returning to the West Coast.

“This schedule gives a variety of opponents across the country to really test where we are at in comparison to the Power 5 conferences,” said head coach Kylee White.

SDSU will begin a lengthy homestand for the next five weeks. First up are games against Ohio State (February 17) and California (February 19).

The following week, the Aztecs play USC (February 24), who advanced to the semifinal of the Pac-12 tournament in addition to the NCAA Tournament last year until losing to Virginia in the first round.

San Diego State will take on Stony Brook on March 1 in the team’s inaugural game at Snapdragon Stadium. The Aztecs will then welcome Kent State (March 3) for a second Snapdragon contest.

Next up, SDSU will play High Point (March 5) before taking on Villanova (March 8). This will be the first meeting between the Aztecs and Wildcats.

On March 12, Howard comes to town followed by a visit from Lindenwood on March 22.

SDSU's final road trip is back to the East Coast where they will play Drexel (March 28) and St. Joseph’s (March 30), and a stop in Colorado (April 7) before their return to America’s Finest City.

The Aztecs will honor their seniors at the final home contest against Arizona State (April 21).

SDSU closes out the regular season with their third meeting with UC Davis (April 29).
