May 31, 2017 (Santee) — The Santee Sheriff’s station will host a coffee with the community on Monday, June 12 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cameron Family YMCA pool deck, 10123 Riverwalk Drive in Santee.

A press release from the Sheriff states:  “Community outreach is a top priority of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. Members of the community should feel comfortable bringing problems related to safety and security to our staff.”

The event gives the public a chance to chat with the Station's command staff, deputies and Crime Prevention Specialist in a casual setting and exchange ideas and concerns over a free cup of coffee.

“Come out and make a positive difference in your community,” the invitation adds.
