May 30, 2015 (Lakeside) – The Lakeside Sheriff’s Substation is holding a Coffee With the Community event on Wednesday, June 24 from 6 to 7 :30 p.m. at the Lakeside Community Center, 9841 Vine Street in Lakeside.

“Community outreach is a top priority of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. Members of the community should feel comfortable bringing problems related to safety and security to our staff,” a release from the Sheriff’s Departments states. “Coffee with the Community gives the public a chance to chat with the Station's command staff, deputies and Crime Prevention Specialist in a casual setting to exchange ideas and concerns over a cup of coffee. Come out and make a positive difference in your community!”
